🌴 Nancy's Kitchen
Kid-friendly Mexican restaurant in Summerville, SC.
Nancy’ Kitchen
We have found our new favorite casual dining spot in Summerville. 🌮
Nancy’s Kitchen, a new Mexican restaurant, opened about three weeks ago off of Central Avenue. It would be really easy to miss but I’m so glad it caught my eye. We went for dinner this past weekend and were thrilled to find such delicious, authentic Mexican food.
It’s a very small but cozy place and we felt like special guests. It was very different than the larger Mexican restaurants in the area (which don’t get me wrong, we also love). We talked to the owner, Rico, and he was so kind to our family. We ordered tacos, sopes, and enchiladas and loved the pastor meat (marinated pork). While we waited we ate thin and crispy chips with a salsa packed with flavor.
Pictured: Sopes from heaven. In the background: authentic tacos to die for next to the chips with homemade salsa.
The food came quickly, was fairly priced, and it was one of the best meals we had out in a while. We definitely left with a sense that our business truly mattered to the people there, and we love to support new and local places that way.
Please go and check them out because we desperately want them to thrive! This isn’t a paid ad. We literally just love their food and want them to succeed. Go eat your heart out.
You can find Nancy’s Kitchen at 820 Central Ave, Summerville. It’s open from 10am-9pm every day but closed on Mondays. Soon the new hours will be 7am-11am for brunch, 11am-3pm for lunch, and 3pm-9pm for dinner.
